About Electra Mustaine…

Electra Mustaine is a singer/songwriter from Fallbrook, CA.  And like her father, Dave Mustaine, founder of the internationally acclaimed rock band Megadeth, she’s a bit of a rebel.  She chose to make a name for herself in something completely different from what might be expected, something more true to who she is.  Two words: country music.

You could say she was somewhat of an athlete as a kid, playing soccer, softball, basketball, and volleyball for most of her adolesence. She grew up in a place she calls ‘Small Town, CA’ and spent most of her time around farms where she showed horses (starting at the age of 2), this was her favorite sport.

“She is heavy metal royalty, with her own plan in mind.”

Beginning her musical journey in her hometown theater, she spent years singing, dancing, and preforming in numerous plays at a young age. Her love for preforming grew and developed as she did. She started auditioning for acting roles in Los Angeles and shortly after landed a four year role as the co-star of Animal Planet’s TV series, Dr.’s Foster & Smith’s: Faithful Friends.

Electra began taking singing lessons at age 7 preforming at the San Diego County Fair 3 years in a row. She would then sing on King 5 New Day Northwest and hold a special concert to benefit Operation Ward 57 a non-profit organization that helps wounded servicemembers and their families. These performances would continue throughout the years, and she would eventually end up playing in the hub of what Brad Paisley calls the ‘Country Nation’. Later, she’d get the privilege of being asked to play NASCAR at Watkins Glen.

After watching her father play the George Jones Tribute concert in Nashville, the Mustaine family decided that the south would be their new home. Electra would then start her journey in the world of songwriting. To this day Electra has written with numerous writers including Phoenix Mendoza, Bryan White, Blair Daly, Nathan Chapman, Dave Pahanish, Kent Wells, & many more. She has written 40+ songs with numbers increasing daily.

As Electra pieces together her team, she’s currently writing for upcoming release dates in 2016.
